Well yea basically trying my to see if i can get a decent jobs somewhere, never know basically im looking for an active and fun job, heres my cv :D

Interests
I enjoy socializing with my friends such as going to parties or going out doing other recreational activities such as walking. I have a keen interest in mountain biking as well as fulfilling the activity on a daily basis more so during the weekends. I do a lot of outdoor recreational activities such as camping and hiking. For the past eight years I have done Choi Kwan do and I recently achieved my black belt.
I often go onto the internet to do work, play games or socialize with friends via MSN. I also enjoy reading whenever I get the chance too My most favorite sport is mountain biking and one day I hope to take part in downhill mtb races

Education and study
I have been studying in St. Joseph’s Catholic Comprehensive school in Port Talbot for the past six years and I am currently a student in the sixth form. I obtained pleasing grades which have been listed below:

Religious education entry level – 3
Humanities – 2
Science – C
Systems and Control – C
English – D
English entry level – 3
Math’s – C
ICT – D
Health and social – Pass (equivalent to two GCSE or one A level, not sure)

I have also achieved a bronze and silver certificate in ASDAN and am currently awaiting to send my file so that I could gain a COPE; which is equivalent to a B grade in gcse.

I am in the middle of doing my Silver Duke of Eden borough award and I hope to successfully achieve this by the end of the summer and I recently completed my Bronze duke of eden

Experience of work
During May 2007 I did a week of work experience with Red Dragon Cash registers in Swansea. I was expected to help repair and fix tills as well as going out with the technicians to deliver tills and program them in the stores.
I also did a week of work experience in St Joseph’s comprehensive school; this enlisted me in helping the technicians with installing new computer software and helping to fix any problems that the teachers or pupils had with them, this week of work experience was contributed to my ASDAN project.

Qualifications and awards
During my time in St Josephs comprehensive school port Talbot I have had a very good attendance record and I have certificates to prove this.
I also have certificates from Choi Kwando, showing just how far I have come since I started.
In 2002 I did a sponsored bike ride from Port Talbot pier to Mumbles pier; it was a 20 mile ride and was in aid of raising money for cancer treatment. I also use to play football for Afan Lido Dragons which was a special needs team. Thanks to the strong team effort put in by all of us, we became a successful football team. I did a first aid course called Heart Start in 2002 as well as being in ST John’s Ambulance for two years. I also did cub scouts for a year has well.
In 2006, I participated in Archery in Margam Park which I enjoyed very much and am keen to pursue it further.

I am a polite person which is very important when working with a team and I am very conscious of health and safety. I take part in team work in school and in recreational activities and I always put my best effort in to it. Every year there is an event up Neath Gnoll which is put on for children who have learning difficulties and are much more restricted in there abilities to participate in other activities, therefore, I have taken part in this event every year and I have helped out as much as I can. I have taken part in quite a few outdoor and indoor events; wither with school or with clubs. I believe in helping other people and doing the very best in anything I do.

p.s anyways i could improve my cv would be welcome has well

All CV’s look awful on Yahoo! Answers thanks to formatting, but the order on this one is at best "strange" and at worst "poor."

What do you want to do next? Where do you see yourself in 3 or 5 years time? ASDAN/COPE is basically a qualification to teenagers into higher education, which is the route you have so far chosen/been pushed down. But the framing of your question suggests that you want to do something active and work like now over another phase of education?

The level and grade of qualifications suggest a thinker in there somewhere, my only explanation presently for ICT at D and Systems and Control at C.

I would look at the big employers for an apprenticeship scheme, including internationals like Corus and Ford, and locals including Brains Brewery. The smaller guys could offer you work, but what happens in three years time when you fancy moving on? Who has ever heard of XYZ and Co, it will be the college qualification that you get alongside them that will count then.

I suggest you sit down with three sheets of paper. label one NOW, and write down everything you offer an employer now. Label one FUTURE, and sketch in words and drawings how you see your life in 3 to 5 years: yes, includes kids and family, if appropriate. Then draw a plan between the two. Chat it through with a few good friends and family that you can wholly trust, and take their advice.

Good Luck!

I know this is the job for the police but we know they can’t do it all and there’s too many child predators or pedophiles on the Internet and too many children being abducted. We also know there are some parents who fail to talk to their children about Internet safety and fail to put in softwares that help record Internet activities and so forth…. we also know that children will lie to their parents about what they’re doing online.

Child predators really need to be dealt with because of those reasons. I’ve read that one can get into trouble if you go in a chat room and pretend to be a young child when you’re not. I don’t see why. There must be something else that can be done.

If I do enter a chat room and pretend to be a young child and I want to be anonymous when reporting this pedophile, is that possible? Is it possible to be anonymous and not involved at all once the report is in?

Become a police officer or federal agent, this is not an area for amateurs.

Perverted Justice is not a recognized program within the law enforcement community; even if they have been used by some agencies in association with the TV "To Catch a Predator" series. Much caution must be exercised, no one is authorized to possess child pornography, even by those investigating it, unless in direct pursuit of a governmental criminal investigation.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (www.NCMEC.org and/or missingkids.com), has information available and provides a reporting mechanism for child exploitation (CyberTipline, available on the web site). This non-profit was created by Congress, and partial funding for this agency is provided by the Dept of Justice.

can u please give me ur opinion on it and fix the mistakes in there tanks :)

This marvelous book will touch on some very serious points; any average 12 or 13 will possibly face at some time in their life. In this essay I mostly focus on internet safety, and how you can use it for beneficial reasons. Usually for kids it is very hard to understand what kind of predators are behind the computer screen; but the story of dear Jo will explain all the hazards that a child/teen can face while on the internet. All readers, in all ages will find this book interesting and to make it a little more exciting I will write a brief summary of Dear Jo in the next two paragraphs. Every child must understand the risks of using a specific website or using the internet at all. I personally prefer to use the internet to communicate with my friends and family that I don’t get the opportunity to see often, or to research for school references.

its best not to use "i" in a paper (i assume this is for school). also don’t tell the reader you will summarize something, instead just summarize it in the next paragraph.

I just finished reading a question where the poster simply asked why America has become so greedy. He volunteers for his community, plans to travel to a third world nation to volunteer, wants to help this country change, etc. The posters were almost all being immature about it telling him to leave, that he’s an idiot regardless of his degree, etc.

Well, I have something to say…

Do you remember why this country became independent? Yes, because we were getting ridiculous taxes. They were taxing so much, from paper, to tea and tobacco, and we got tired of it.

Well do you see something wrong? We get taxed on EVERYTHING you buy. Manufacturers get taxed for the raw materials they purchase, then they sell to retailers and they pay tax when buying products. When those products are sold to you, the "consumer" you pay a sales tax on that. That same product was taxed several times. If you’re a smoker, you pay more in taxes than on an actual pack of cigarettes. They’re introducing a tax on soda (Aside the sales tax) and on "Tanning" for those UV tanning booths.

From your paycheck, if you add up all that’s taken away, you basically worked for several months..yes months…for free. All the money you made for those months was taken directly by your government. In New Jersey, it’s not uncommon at all to pay upwards of $10,000 a year for homeowners as property tax as well. The interest you made in the bank? That gets taxed too.

And yet they still have no money and have a national debt of over 12 TRILLION dollars… (debtclock.com). Then you have the Wal-Marts… these guys that pay cents for their products knowingly made oversees by people who work almost full days straight and get compensated with enough to buy a bowl of rice and a bottle of water for the day, they come around and offer the same products for slightly cheaper (in many cases for only a few cents cheaper) than the competition and run all small businesses out. (Wal-Mart even sells coffins..that’s right…coffins…at an affordable price! Only online!). These gargantuan companies care nothing more than to squeeze every last dollar possible from the lower classes of america. Hey, I hear they pay a little over minimum wage, though, at least!

With so many enormous franchises, a lot of people have lost their touch with humanity. We are a social people. We are supposed to love our fellow man, respect and help. As the companies get larger and larger, they get colder and colder. The people running them are heartless pricks cashing in hundreds of millions of dollars per year for their salaries and laughing at the consumer the entire way.

We are conditioned to not give a hoot about our neighbors, to keep our faces stuck to the latest iphone, the latest slick and big tv! The next BIG BIG BIG car, we are taught to want everything, want it NOW, and want MORE. The average american is thousands in debt. We are trained to believe that we are nothing if we don’t own anything. The more you own, the better you are. The bigger your tv or car, the better you are.

It’s a country that started off on the right foot, but has been heading on a downward spiral so fast lately. There’s a lot of great people left, don’t get me wrong. These people, however, are quickly being outnumbered. There are less and less ethics, less and less morals, and more and more of our freedoms get taken away one at a time..but consistently enough. for your safety..

A law passed where you can’t sell tobacco or tobacco products over the internet…for the safety of our children! Don’t most kids stand outside a convenience store or gas station and ask people nearby to get the ciggarettes for them? I never heard of an underage kid buying a 1 pound bulk bag of tobacco, a $50 tobacco injector, several cartons of empty tubes, and start cranking his own cigarettes. No..in the name of your children’s safety, they now guarantee that not only your children, but everyone else buys their ultra-taxed packs of cigarettes that are over $8 a pack in New Jersey and over $10 in New York.

Where they install cameras on traffic lights…it’s been proven that in many cases, they hand over the controls to the civil engineers who get a commission for every ticket the police give for running a red light, so the intentionally decrease the amount of time the yellow light is supposed to stay lit. this means that if you’re used to 4.5 seconds (Which is a standard in many counties across the nation), and suddenly you have a yellow light that now only lasts 3.8 seconds, that fraction of a second is the difference between you making it on time, or running a red light.

Tickets increase, revenues increase for the police departments and the civil engineers for their commissions, and us runts that just want to get to work on time have to pay the price for their trickery. In fact, sometimes th

Well said! The first thing to do is to outlaw trade unions in monopolies, and that applies particularly to municipal services. I’ve no objection to paying anyone what they are worth, but hundreds of thousands are paid what they get solely because of the union membership card in their wallet.

Hello, I am certified with I-Safe(Internet safety and Internet crimes prevention)

If you have children you should be aware of the following things
1)Screen names. can you tell me what are wrong with the following?
soccergal92
wbhsballer21
5jacob31beckner92
???

2)Myspaces,all kids have them now a days, check your childs, does it have the real hometown and state?
School posted?
These 2 things yet alone give pedophiles enough to immediatly track down a student especially with pictures posted on the internet.

Have a good day, first one to get the screen names correct gets 10 points(or the closest)
KC V
I am closing the question and you will receive the 10 points.
the corrected answers were…

1) Soccergal92 shows she likes soccer birth year probably 92.

2) WBHSballer21 A highschool student most likely basketball player number 21.

3) Is a 16 yr old, with their name seperated by their birthdate, I have a lot more difficult ones but good job.

STAY SAFE EVERYONE!

I’m not sure exactly what you’re looking for, however:

1) Soccergal92 is a 16 year old girl "hannah banana" from OH and most likely involved in her school sports program.

2) WBHSballer21 is a student at a New Hampshire high school, also a sports participant with #21 most likely being their jersey number.

3) Is most likely another 16 year old with their first and last name seperated by their date of birth!

Parents,

Can you say some Safety tips,:)

Especially when the Child is new to the net, what are the safety tips?

Better to select good sites suits for our children and save it in the Favorites. So that you can ask them to go and just open only those sites.
Selected sites can be already saved to the kids, so that you can ask them to have a look at off line too.
Blocking particular sites is a facility available, but you cannot block all the unwanted sites.
On surfing, parents can give company, so that kids also will be happy, we too can assure the safe accessing of sites.

Hello, I am an 8th grader doing a persuasive speech on internet safety. I wanted to know some of the suicides, or even deaths that have been brought on by harsh internet use leading to people hurting themselves because of it. And there was a young girl on the news recently that took her own life because of it. If you know her name, could you tell me? And if you have any tips to help me reach into the audience to stop their child from doing this.. For having a relative that isn’t careful on the internet, I’m very serious about this topic. Thank you very much.

Sad situations, Info below:

The social network – the most popular in the world – has been criticised for defying calls to add a specialist link to a panic button to every page.

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre (Ceop), wants the button, which enables users to report abuse, to be given prominent use. Last week, Mr Gamble, who leads CEOP revealed Facebook has never passed a concern to British police and that complaints about the site are spiralling. Last month schoolgirl Ashleigh Hall was murdered after a serial rapist made contact with her through Facebook. Mr Gamble said the Facebook negotiators were travelling back to the company’s California base to discuss their next move.

A few questions:

Do you think a panic button would stop internet groomers? Presumably the point is that the victim doesn’t know they are being groomed.

Can all reports of grooming be investigated thoroughly?

Is half the problem that youngsters are revealing too much personal information, including their school, address and photographs, thus making stalking easy?

Should parents not be responsible for their children’s online activities rather than the websites themselves?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/facebook/7584109/Facebook-must-turn-words-into-action-and-install-panic-button-says-child-safety-chief.html

For a start you’re not supposed to use Facebook if you’re under 13 years of age. Look at Yahoo and how many people hit the ‘report abuse’ button – it would be just the same, except that everyone would end up being investigated by the police rather than just having their accounts suspended.

Does your child have private internet access?

The Victims’ Champion called for adults to install monitoring software on computers used by youngsters, and she admitted she checks up on her own children.

"It’s like being stalked," she said. "It’s harassment. As an adult, it’s seen as all those things. But for some reason when we put it with children and put the word bullying to it, it’s something which can be brushed over.

Since the death of her daughter Sarah at the hands of paedophile Roy Whiting in 2000, Mrs Payne has become a prominent campaigner for victims’ rights. Mrs Payne, who took up her Government-appointed post at the end of January, made her comments as she launched Real Radio’s Websafe campaign.

According to a survey by the network of regional stations, a fifth of schoolchildren admit they have given personal information to someone they have never met. The poll of 3,680 children aged 11 to 15 also found 16% had agreed to meet a stranger after chatting on the internet.

The research showed 61% of teenagers could access the internet in their bedrooms, with almost half (45%) of parents never checking on their children’s online activities.

Mrs Payne defended "spying" on children for their own safety.
"I’m not sorry or apologising for being involved in my children’s lives," she said. "You just have to tell them – yes, you can have the internet, but this software will be on there and I will check at some point and if you don’t stick to these rules, the internet goes. You’re the parent, they’re the child and, quite frankly, there’s nothing wrong with that."

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20091116/tuk-parents-should-spy-on-kids-online-6323e80.html

Mrs Payne is just right not to be sorry for ”spying”
After several incidents in which I found the 11 year old talking to strangers and having a forbidden facebook profile all emails, invitations to message etc are routed through me.

She also knows if my IM pops up while she is on Lexi is the only one she can reply to.
She is also not allowed the laptop in her bedroom anymore.

On a side note isn’t Sara Payne an incredibly brave women?
Most people would go to pieces after losing a child in such an horrendous manner but she has campaigned to save other children

God Bless her

I found one type on the internet made for cribs that has gaps on each end. I think the safest option right now for us is to take down the front end off of our daughter’s crib. It is a convertible crib so it turns into a daybed. The only problem is I am trying to find a bed rail so she doesn’t roll out. I have found bed rails for twin size beds that would work but it says not to use for any size mattress other than twin, queen or full. Any help?

We have the bed rail that is by Summer or something like that. It’s sort of blue with a white mesh. It’s just the standard size, it says NOT to use it with a convertible crib but we sort of made it work. There is just a space near the foot of the bed that is only about a foot wide, she can climb in and out of the bed easily and I don’t have to worry about her falling out. When we converted she was 3 so I think she is old enough to handle the whole ordeal.

I searched endlessly on the internet for a manufacturer who specializes in rubber materials. I could not find no manufacturer here in the Chicagoland area. Some of the them here specializes in arcylic, steel and other solid materials. I need rubber material because it is durable, it bends and stretches. The reason why I am searching for a rubber manfacturer is to create and mold my prototype of a child safety device that I have recently received a patent for. The child safety device has to be flexiable and has alittle stretch to be applied around cabinet handles. Please help!

look for a company that does injection molding or a plastics manufacturer

example the rubber on a tooth brush is injection molding

The FBI team writes this to inform you that your buyer Dr. Trump. who complained to us bitterly over an item he paid you for, which is "HTC Tilt 8925 for AT&T” through PayPal online money order and got doing business with you through Craigslist.org, and we also interviewed him to believe that what he said is True concerning the allegations that you scammed him and double crossed him out of his money, which he sent to your PayPal account and also shows to us the proof of the payment made by him and since then the Report was so because he didn’t want to Continue with it maybe. And again the PayPal online money order also sent a report to us about you Providing their own Evidence that you wanted to use their service to Scam others and to rip people off out of their Money. But this will never happen since it has been reported to us. We’re hereby write to inform you that the Merchandise must be shipped as they told you to it’s destination being West Africa/Nigeria to your buyer’s name and Information without any arguement as you both was agreed before this problem came up, failure to do that will attract the real attention of the FBI team in East Harlem the City of New York to track you down because every information about you is with us and we also have your profile in our Data/Computer. So we strongly advice you to ship the Merchandise back to his son’s to the Information which was given to you by him. The FBI’s cyber mission is four-fold: first and foremost, to stop those behind the most serious computer intrusions and the spread of malicious code; second, to identify and thwart online predators who use the Internet to meet and exploit others through internet business and online transactions. Statement report made by the PayPal Team will be sent to you shortly.
OMG THANKS. BUT I FEEL KIND OF SCARED STILL.

There is nothing this person can do to you as he didn’t pay you and thus the transaction didn’t go through. And you have the right to make whatever terms-of-sale you deem appropriate (ie. no checks, no shipping, etc.). He is only bluffing and trying to force you into giving him something for nothing.

So email him back and tell him it is a crime to misrepresent oneself as a police officer or to misrepresent a communication as being one from a police officer. And then tell him that you forwarded HIS communications to the FBI and he is free to do likewise with your communications.

And then contact PayPal and let them know what is happening to you. Don’t contact this person anymore unless PayPal or a police officer instructs you to. And contact your local police department as I believe what this man is doing is a crime. They will give you further instructions. And as you are a minor, you will need a parent to go with you.

Also, you were wise not to give out your address or your phone number. Never do that and NEVER accept a check (they could be fake). Oh, and never meet any person (including this one) by yourself. Always have a parent with you for your personal safety. There are some very bad people out there who might prefer you to the product you are selling so don’t put yourself in harm’s way.

One last thing. You must tell your parents what happened.

Good luck!

I posted this same question in both the parenting and the computer/myspace section and I didn’t find what I was looking for, but was bashed by (I hope by children and teens) for wanting to "spy" on my child. So please don’t report me for posting here which seems to have some relatively bright adults here… I TRUST my 13 yr.-old daughter, but want to keep safety first. Does anyone know the best software in which to use to watch a child’s safety on the internet, particularly Myspace? Note: I’ve already made her space "private," have her password and keep the computer in the livingroom. The computer history just doesn’t show you everything. I’d be a neglectful mother if I didn’t watch my child’s safety. Any thoughts on software?
Yes, when I got her password I logged on and you wouldn’t believe the number of people on there who were adults! And chatting with her!!!! What these adults apparently do is make 2 sep. accounts: one is a "kid" account, they’re added to her friend’s list this way then they explain later that they’re really an adult and begin using (sometimes) their regular accounts to leave comments and chat w/ her. It’s not her I don’t trust, but the fact that she could be lead into such a thing. It’s the perverts I do not trust. I’m an educated adult and have raised her with very good safety values. But I’m NOT God and no one is a perfect parent. My friend does the sting work at the police dept. and he won’t allow his kids on Myspace or Facebook at all. Which actually speaks volumes.

My Space…. is full of Hackers…. and Child.. Predators … POSING AS…… Adolescents….!

Do not allow her…. ADULT PRIVACY….. and Always SEE WHAT AND WHO…. she is Communicating WITH?

May I suggest a… PSEUDO-NAME….ALSO? I use one when on Any Site….!

Also… Email Addresses can be… TRACKED….! MOM…. YOU HAVE to Monitor ALL COMMUNICATION…..!

There is TRACKING SOFTWARE…. that will enable… "YOU"… to see… ALL SITES AND COMMUNICTIONS… Visited….!

And… WHAT IF…. she goes to …A Friends HOUSE…. and opens a Secret Account…. From….THERE? ? ?

I remember…. How Sneaky I WAS… AT THAT AGE?

Thanks for Asking ! RR
